Amazing Earth poster series

These were part of a project commissioned by UncommonGoods. After the rights returned to me, I expanded the series and added more details. The series includes layers of the ocean, layers of the fossil record, layers of the atmosphere, volcanoes, and one that shows how earthquakes tell us what's inside the earth. I had the most fun working on the ocean piece. Sunlight only reaches the uppermost zones, and that's where most living things on the planet can be found. But even deep below the surface life finds a way. Look at all the animals! Look at the fish! Look at the shelly fauna! Look at James Cameron!!
